Sophia Grace was born July 8th, 2010 with Tetralogy of Fallot. Sophia was diagnosed when I was 29 weeks pregnant and was monitored by a cardiologist after birth. On October 10th, 2010 she started having TET Spells and was rushed to the hospital during the next six days we were transfered to 3 different hospitals until we finally ended up at Lucile Packard. The night before her surgery we almost lost Sophia but she fought so hard to stay with us. She had open heart surgery October 16th, 2010 to save her life. Sophia is now a very active 18 month old who loves to play at the park and is crazy about Dora the explorer. She is my heart hero and the greatest gift I could ever receive.
